‘I can’t express how sad all the girls are feeling.’

According to US media reports, Faye Doomchin, 66, has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the stabbing.

US police say Ms Webster was killed after having lunch with a man and Doomchin.

The three reportedly went back to the house in Great Neck for coffee and cake and to listen to the man play piano.

It’s alleged Doomchin said that she did not like the woman from England and she had to ‘rid the house of evil.’

Doomchin is said to have appeared from the kitchen with a knife before stabbing Ms Webster in the chest.

Ms Webster was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

Police say the victim and Doomchin had never met before Monday, but that the man from Queens, New York was friends with both of them.

Doomchin, of North Road, Great Neck, was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead, New York last Tuesday and pleaded not guilty. She is being held without bail.

Detective Lt. Stephen Fitzpatrick said the group were sitting in the living room talking when Doomchin suddenly said she didn’t like the British woman before making the comments about ridding her home of evil.

‘They never met before, they just met that day, came back to the house and then this incident happened,’ Fitzpatrick said.
