A married couple from Atlanta were left in a tricky situation after a tree blocking their door prevented them from getting to the hospital on Monday so the woman could deliver twins.
Heather Yavaliollah went into labor at her home, which she shares with husband Mehrvarz Yavaliollah, a month early.
The couple were in a rush to get to the hospital but were unfortunately trapped thanks to Hurricane Irma, which had knocked down a tree, blocking them in, Atlanta’s Fox 5 reports.

Mehrvarz had a solution however and decided to go to the shed to get a chainsaw, which is when he began hacking away at the tree.
Apparently onlookers saw what was happening and decided to help.
‘My wonderful neighbors saw me outside. They kind of knew the situation, so they started grabbing limbs as I was cutting them off and helped move them to the street. So very thankful to them,’ Mehrvarz Yavaliollah said.

The couple were fortunate enough to make it to Piedmont Hospital where she was able to deliver two healthy baby boys – Stuart and Solomon.
‘Everything looked fine, and we were not expecting anything to happen,’ Heather Yavaliollah said. ‘And then Irma came along and changed all of that.’
According to the new mother her boys, who were born a month prior to their due date, are: ‘Sweet little angels.’
‘So Irma was no indication of their behavior.’
