‘I don’t think he belongs on the Supreme Court,’ third Kavanaugh accuser Julie Swetnick says

Julie Swetnick, the third woman to come forward with allegations of sexual assault against Brett Kavanaugh, said in a television interview that he does not belong on the Supreme Court.

‘From what I experienced firsthand, I don’t think he belongs on the Supreme Court,’ Swetnick said. ‘I just want the facts to come out and I want it to be just and I want the American people to have those facts and judge for themselves.’

She spoke with John Heilemann for Showtime’s ‘The Circus.’ A brief clip of her interview aired on MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ Thursday morning.

Her interview comes as Kavanaugh prepares to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday against allegations made by Christine Blasey Ford.

Swetnick said his behavior is a disqualifying factor in his Supreme Court nomination.

‘That’s not the type of behavior anybody at any age should do. I don’t think women should be treated that way and I don’t think any human being should treat people that way,’ she said.

Swetnick wants an FBI investigation of her accusation against President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee.

‘Brett Kavanaugh is going for a seat, where he is going to have that seat on the Supreme Court for the rest of his life. And if he is going to have that seat legitimately, all of these things should be investigated,’ she told Showtime.

She also disputed questions on her allegations against Kavanaugh, saying she has been thinking about it since it happened.

‘It wasn’t that I wanted to come out one day before the hearing. It just turned out that way. This is something that occurred a long time ago. And it’s not that I just thought about it. It’s been on my mind ever since the occurrence,’ she said.

The full interview airs Sunday night on Showtime.

Swetnick’s attorney, Michael Avenatti, is also demanding the FBI investigate.

‘We want the FBI involved immediately to vet these allegations, to take interviews with all of the witnesses including Mark Judge, including Brett Kavanaugh, and perhaps we can test the veracity of his claims the other night on Fox News about being such an innocent high schooler where he would walk little old ladies across the street and bring an apple to every teacher of every day during the school year,’ he told CNN Wednesday night.

He also defended Swetnick’s credibility.

‘I’ll put up her credibility against Donald Trump’s or Brett Kavanaugh’s any day of the week. I mean, all of these women cannot be lying. I mean, how many women are we up to now that are accusing Brett Kavanaugh of inappropriate conduct? There’s plenty of judges and attorneys in America that don’t have allegations like this in their background who would be more than qualified to sit on the U.S. Supreme Court for life,’ he said.

He also said she didn’t report it in the 1980s because she wasn’t aware of what was fully going on.

‘The reason why she didn’t do anything about it is for the reason I just said, because she didn’t understand the magnitude of what was going on in these back rooms until she was gang raped at one of these parties,’ he said.

‘And I can assure you that after she was gang raped at one of these parties, that was attended by Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge, she never went back,’ he added. ‘And, look, I think the most important witness perhaps in all of this relating to all of these allegations is Mark Judge. And the fact that Mark Judge is Brett Kavanaugh’s best friend or one of his closest friends and he doesn’t want him to be called to testify to the point where they have him hiding out in a safe house so he’s not subpoenaed to testify, tells you everything you need to know about who is telling the truth.

Swetnick, in a bombshell allegation on Thursday morning, accused Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge were there as she was abused by a ‘train’ of teenage boys.

She said she was drugged ‘using Quaaludes or something similar’ which had been put in her drink – and that Kavanaugh and his friends would spike ‘punch’ at parties with grain alcohol or drugs to ’cause girls to lose inhibitions and their ability to say ‘No’.’

Swetnick does not accuse Kavanaugh of participating in her rape, but said he and Judge were present when it occurred. She also said she saw Kavanaugh and Judge lined up at other parties ‘waiting for their ‘turn’ with a girl inside the room.’

Kavanaugh has denied the allegation.

‘This is ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone. I don’t know who this is and this never happened,’ he said in a statement released by the White House.

Judge was the teenage boy Christine Blasey Ford charged with being in the room when Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a high school party in the 1980s.

Kavanaugh also has denied her charge and a second allegation from Debra Ramirez, who claims the Supreme Court nominee exposed himself and thrust his penis in her face, forcing her to touch it when she pushed him away at a college party when they were at Yale.

Ford will also testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday.

President Trump is standing by his nominee but said at a press conference Wednesday he would be watching the testimony and reserved the right to change his mind on Kavanaugh.

‘If I thought he would was guilty of something like this sure,’ the president said when asked if there were any circumstances he would name a new person to the Supreme Court.

He added: ‘I want to watch. I want to see.’

Trump also repeated his distaste for Avenatti, who is representing Swetnick.

‘This other con-artist, Avenatti, come out with another beauty today,’ the president said of the latest allegation. ‘I can tell you her lawyer is a low life.’

Trump has not held back on his distaste for Avenatti.

Avenatti’s most prominent client is porn star Stormy Daniels, who claims she had a sexual affair with Trump in 2006 at a celebrity golf tournament.

‘Avenatti is a third rate lawyer who is good at making false accusations, like he did on me and like he is now doing on Judge Brett Kavanaugh,’ Trump said earlier Wednesday.

Avenatti said Trump himself has zero credibility.

‘Well, you know, if anyone knows a con, I guess it would be Donald Trump based on the last two years,’ he said on CNN.

‘You know, look, this guy has zero credibility in the eyes of most Americans, and certainly in the eyes of the world. He’s a habitual liar. He has distractions against allegations made against Brett Kavanaugh who has no business being on the U.S. Supreme Court. I said a while ago that he should go to the next name on the list, and that’s exactly what he should do,’ he added.
