A woman has gone viral on TikTok after getting a tattoo of a Spotify code so she can use it to request tunes from DJs- with people branding her ‘a genius’.

Fátima Camarena, from Mexico, got the inking on her arm which when scanned, leads to a Spotify playlist.

It’s a clever trick because you can create a playlist with just one song and if you get bored with requesting a particular tune, you can change it to another one and use the same inking.

In a clip, that has 7.2 million views and 882,900 likes, she can be seen showing her tattoo to a DJ who scans it with his phone.

Fátima’s DJ friend, Jonatan Zamora, hovered his phone over her tattoo and within moments Jonatan’s phone is taken to a Spotify playlist.

The music suddenly changed to a new song and it played loud over the speakers.

The song is by the Mexican band Mi Banda El Mexicano and the track is called Que Ricos Cocos (What Delicious Coconuts).

Jonatan explained the meaning behind the tattoo, saying: ‘She is a super fan of the band, Mi Banda El Mexicano, and whilst we were at a party, she asked to play that song (What Delicious Coconuts) because she was about to go to Cancun!.’

Fátima showed her tattoo to the DJ and she didn’t even have to speak over the loud music to request a new song

‘We all liked it because of the rhythm and the peculiar way in which Fátima sang it, and from then we put it in all the party playlists!

‘One day she went to get a tattoo and she came to us with the surprise that she had tattooed the song, so if she was at a party she would just need to stretch out her arm and say, put that on.’
