A jealous boyfriend who assaulted and raped his girlfriend before telling her to dig her own grave, has bee jailed for eight years.
The man attacked his girlfriend because he thought she had talked to her ex-boyfriend and another man ‘looked at her’.
During an ice-fuelled frenzy he punched and kicked the woman, who is a mother, while calling her a ‘slut’, South Australia District Court heard.
The abuse, which spanned several hours, took place inside a cabin at a caravan park in Adelaide in May 2017.

The man ate dinner but told his girlfriend she was only allowed to eat dinner if she ate it ‘like a dog’ off the floor, The Advertiser reports.
He then raped the woman as he held two kitchen knives to her face after she tried to go to sleep.
He also pushed her head into the toilet when she ran to the bathroom to vomit.
‘You then forced your victim into the car at knifepoint and… told her that she was going to dig her own grave,’ Judge Boylan said.
‘She was terrified, thinking she would never see her children again.’

The victim escaped when the man wanted to switch seats so he could drive.
He chased after her when she ran across Cross Rd where drivers stopped to rescue her.
The man was sentenced to eight years in jail with no parole for five years after the judge accepted he only committed the depraved acts because he was on drugs.
Judge Boylan said the victim suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and severe depression because of the vile acts.
