Australia’s most famous identical twins who eat, sleep and shower together plan to have children with their shared fiancé at the very same time.

Anna and Lucy DeCinque, 35, from Perth, take the meaning of sisterly bond to a whole new level – they dress alike, spend every minute together, and recently became engaged to their partner of 10 years, mechanic Ben Byrne, 40.

His brides-to-be have already made plans for the future, with Anna revealing they hope to become pregnant at the same time through IVF.

She said if she found out she was expecting, Lucy would ‘definitely get pregnant straight away’ so they can continue to look exactly the same.

The twins previously discussed the difficulties of conceiving together, admitting it would be a ‘challenge’.

‘Our mum’s actually convincing us to give birth naturally. I don’t know how that’s going to work,’ Anna said on the Today Show in 2019.

‘It’s going to be a challenge.’

Ben proposed to the sisters – who have been dubbed the world’s ‘most identical twins’ – with matching rings in the latest episode of TLC’s reality TV series, Extreme Sisters.

After taking the girls out for a romantic picnic, he popped the question with engagement rings stacked with three bands, which he said symbolises their special relationship as a trio.

The sisters have been dating Ben since 2012, but they will be forced to travel overseas when they want to get married because polygamy is banned under the Australian Marriage Act 1961.

The trio, who live with the twins’ mother, share a king sized bed, with Ben in the middle, and say they are considering tying the knot in Malaysia Indonesia or parts of the US where polygamy is legal.

Anna and Lucy are so close close that they go to the toilet together and measure out their food to ensure they are eating exactly the same amount.

‘When she goes to the toilet, I come with her; when she has a shower, I come with her,’ Anna told the New York Post.

‘You name it and we do it. We’re never apart. I don’t think we’d function without each other. We have separation anxiety. We’re bound to each other.’

The DeCinque twins are showcasing their extraordinarily interconnected lives in the American TLC network’s new reality TV series, Extreme Sisters.

The program – which chronicles the lives and relationships of the DeCinques and four other sets of siblings – launched in the States on Monday and will hit Australian streaming services later this year.
