The British heartthrob, 50, hit the red carpet ahead of the screening at the Paris Theater in an eye-catching green blazer styled with bold red trousers.
He slipped his feet into a pair of stylish green patent leather loafers to complete the colorful look.
Elba steps back into character as DCI John Luther in the highly-anticipated action flick adapted from the hit BBC series.
‘Luther: The Fallen Sun,’ which also stars Tony Award-winner Cynthia Erivo and Lord Of The Rings alum Andy Serkis, is slated for a Friday, March 10 release on Netflix.

Elba’s wife Sabrina, 34, stunned onlookers as she posed for photographs beside him in a yellow one-shoulder gown.
The flowing number pooled at her feet and featured a bejeweled strap that sparkled under the lights.
Sabrina stood on strappy heels and her killer legs poked through a knee-high slit in her dress.
The brunette beauty – who wed The Office star in 2019 after two years of dating – rocked a shiny red manicure and accessorized with a chunky silver bracelet.
Sabrina’s cropped brunette hair was swept to one side and she sported a sultry smoky eyeshadow look.
The loved-up duo kept their arms wrapped around one another during their time in front of the cameras.
Ever the charmer, Elba briefly stepped away from his wife to snap selfies with adoring fans at the premiere.
He also got in some photos with co-star Andy Serkis, 58, who plays serial killer David Robey in the forthcoming film.
He looked stylish in a brown suit jacket worn with a classic white button-down shirt and black slacks.
Serkis was joined by his wife Lorraine Ashbourne, 62, who flashed the flesh in a black gown with a see-through bodice.

The film has a 2-hour and 10-minute runtime and is slated for a March 10 release.
Speaking to Daily Mail’s Richard Eden, Elba said that he hopes ‘Luther can become its own franchise now and that we duplicate it and make more stories and take it slightly bigger.’
TV series Luther began it’s first series in 2010, before ending with it’s fifth season nine years later.
The fifth and final season of Luther was broadcasted over four consecutive nights in 2019.
