The job advertisement read ‘are you an expert in home organisation? Do you understand how a tidy home can create happiness? Do you want to take your decluttering credentials to the next level?’

This unique position will strengthen your tidying abilities to ‘create order and calm’ for multiple people at one given time.

The role will also aim to assist those who constantly resist decluttering or may lack cleanliness.

One individual who has wowed social media with her organisational skills and colourful ideas is Iryna Federico, who has more than 100,000 Instagram followers.

She revealed that her level of cleaning is doable for the average person as she works full time and still manages to fit in an hour of cleaning every weekend.

The Adelaide cleaning guru said it is important to prioritise donating and throwing out items when you are conducting a big clean.

Iryna recommends starting somewhere small as otherwise you run the risk of being overwhelmed.

‘Your brain is literally programmed to feed off of productivity so as soon as you’ve done something small and you achieve it you’re like “I can do more”,’ she added.

‘For me personally that always works. If I’m really lazy I’ll do one small task and that usually kicks me into gear.’

Last year Sunrise also spoke to psychologist Emmanuella Murray who explained that there is a perfectly good reason as to why people find looking at people’s clean homes satisfying.

‘We don’t like mess, it can actually make us feel quite stressed and overwhelmed,’ she said.

‘So when we see Marie’s tips on TV some people actually feel quite calm and think “maybe I can do this in my own home.”‘
