Social media users have gone crazy for the tote, with several videos praising its practical features including an inside key string, ID holder and hidden pocket.

On TikTok the bag’s tag has racked up 10.3M views, with hundreds of videos from users showing off the viral accessory.  

On Twitter, one excited shopper wrote: ‘Okay but the IKEA Tote Bag isn’t a want but a need’, while another said ‘all of my problems would be solved if I had the IKEA tote bag.’ 

‘Obviously I want the IKEA tote bag and I won’t rest until it’s mine’, said a third user.

But it could be bad news for shoppers, with IKEA confirming that it has no confirmed restock date for the accessory. 

In reply to a tweet asking when theDRÖMSÄCK would be back in stock, the store said: ‘Hi, I’m afraid that we do not currently have a restock date for the DROMSACK.

‘There could be a limited supply until the end of September. As soon as there is stock online or in store it will show on the website.’
