Filming a series of videos during his mandatory two-week isolation before he entered the castle on Wednesday, Adam revealed he was scared of everything.

‘That realisation that you’re going to be faced with all the bugs, rodents, snakes, spiders, challenges. You don’t know what you’re going to face. It suddenly makes it a bit realer,’ he admitted.

‘I’ve been quite calm about it all the way along and now I’m suddenly getting a bit worried.’

‘I don’t think I can single out one biggest fear. It’s gonna be about how I overcome them and try not to squeal like Ian Beale,’ he quipped.

Last year Adam revealed that his incredible weight loss journey was inspired by his pal and EastEnders co-star Jake Wood.

The actor took to Instagram while enjoying a bike ride, as he revealed that it was his pal who prompted him to improve his fitness by exercising regularly.

Sharing a message of appreciation to Jake while riding his bike, Adam said: ‘Like my mate Mr Wood says, “you got to get out there. You got to do it.” He goes running and I go cycling.’

Adam has also admitted to being fat-shamed by EastEnders fans who saw him in person.

‘This woman looks at me and says, “You’re fatter than you are on telly.”‘

Adam and Simon Gregson’s first trial, which will air on Thursday night, sees the pair going head-to-head in a series of gruesome games at the Castle Scare Fair.

In the Queen of the Castle challenge Simon and Adam’s heads are locked in boxes as snakes surround them. Using just their mouths, the actors must release stars to win meals for camp.

As their campmates watch on the duo get to work, being urged to ‘use your tongues’ by the other celebs.
