Fans of the ITV show took to social media in their droves to complain that they were unable to vote via the I’m A Celeb app for five of the ten minutes allocated, on Thursday evening.

Furious! I’m A Celebrity 2020 viewers have voiced they fury as they were unable to vote via the I’m A Celeb app for five of the ten minutes available, on Thursday evening

While some were finally able to cast their votes after refreshing the app for five minutes, others were unable to vote at all.

Ultimately, Ant and Dec went on to reveal that for the first time this season, it wasn’t Jordan selected by the public to take on the next trail, but Mo Farah instead.

Taking to Twitter, viewers asked: ‘What’s going on?’ as they attempted to vote for a celebrity to take on the next trial.

Some fans of the show even joked that Jordan North – who has done every voted-for challenge to date – had hacked the app so that he wouldn’t be voted for again, or that producers ‘blocked’ votes for that purpose.

‘Legit blocked the vote app so we couldn’t pick Jordan again,’ tweeted another.

‘Only reason it wasn’t Jordan because none of us could vote,’ added someone else.

Even celebrity viewers questioned what had happened, with Love Island’s Amy Hart tweeting: ‘They’ve obviously waited til after the trial to open the vote in the hope we’ll vote for someone else! 5 for Mo for me! He makes me die!’
