I’m A Celebrity FIRST LOOK: Chris Moyles is doused in cockroaches as he takes on Boiling Point trial

Chris Moyles will be tackling the Boiling Point trial on Wednesday night, after being voted by the public.

The DJ, 48, will once again fight for food for the camp after bagging just three out of eleven possible meals in Tuesday’s challenge alongside Boy George, 61, and Babatúndé Aléshé, 34. 

Chris looked gutted and was consoled by his fellow campmates as Ant and Dec revealed the latest trial would see him ‘reach boiling point’.

And in the first look for Wednesday’s episode, his worst fears are realised as he is doused in cockroaches.

The clip shows Chris entering a room with a boiler, wearing a helmet and safety goggles.

He yells: ‘Please don’t put anything on me yet!’

He then has to find miniature wrenches to then unscrew a star from the wall, while all manner of gruesome things are dropped on his head.

Struggling to find the right wrench, he is covered in cockroaches, leading him to shout out: ‘Don’t do that to me!’ 

Host Dec helpfully points out: ‘Just cockroaches so far.’

Chris sarcastically replies: ‘Thanks for that guys, I thought it was just cockroaches, do you know what I mean?’

Chris has some difficulty unscrewing the star, despite advice from Ant and Dec.

Dec says: ‘Leftie loosy righty tighty’, while Ant advises: ‘Chris hold the star with one hand and move the spanner with the other hand.’

He then quips: ”Clearly he does not do any DIY in his own house.’

It comes after Chris was left furious in yesterday’s episode after a fellow camp mate stole his towel.

After a mystery person continued to use his towel the self proclaimed germaphobe told his fellow campmates:’ I don’t want to dry with the stench of your balls!’.

Later in the Bush Telegraph Chris said: ‘This is killing me, I like to be as clean as possible. And I’m dirty. I don’t like it. I think I know who it is. [Boy] George.’

The outburst occurred after the broadcaster looked high and low for the towel around the camp. 

Gathering his fellow celebs he said: ‘Guys, with the risk of sounding like a germaphobe with cleanliness issues, is there any chance that when I dry my towel and I go to get it the next day that it’s still there?’.

He continued: ‘Three days in a row and I go to get it and it’s not there. As much as I really, really like you all, I don’t want to dry my body with the stench of your balls.’

The culprit? Following a mystery person continuing to use his towel the self proclaimed germaphobe told his fellow campmates:’ I don’t want to dry with the stench of your balls!’

Meanwhile Culture Club singer Boy George offered: ‘They should have embossed the towels with our names.’

Camp Leader Matt Hancock, 44, said in his confessional: ‘Being leader, it’s about when there’s a problem, just trying to find a solution that everybody’s happy with. This is a happy camp and I want to keep it that way.’

Keen to keep Chris Happy Sue Cleaver, 59, said: ‘I think we count up all the towels and then we’ll have a massive wash up of all the towels today and then redistribute.’

Chris replied: ‘Oh no, it doesn’t warrant that, it’s too much.’

But Matt said: ‘I think that’s a very good idea’ while comedian Seann joked: ‘The leader has spoken!’.
