Jordan North left his campmates in stitches on Tuesday’s I’m A Celebrity as he tried to impersonate Shane Richie.

The BBC Radio 1 presenter, 30, could barely contain his excitement at the prospect of going to the Castle Inn and decided to put on a cockney accent ahead of the trip.

Going up to Shane, 56, Yorkshire-born Jordan said: ‘Can I shine your shoes for you gov’na?’

Jordan said to Shane: ‘It’s like we’re getting ready for a night out.’

In the Telegraph he added: ‘I love pubs. I’m so happy. I’m even getting showered for it and everything. I’m going to get showered and put a new shirt on. I might do my hair as well.’

Later, in the washroom, Shane pointed out Jordan is getting a six pack.

Jordan replied: ‘I’ve not seen that before – that’s because I’ve not drunk beer.’

The mummy blogger, 35, and the presenter, 46, got showered in fish-guts and offal in a bid to get eight stars for a pub meal at the Castle Inn.

‘There’s only one way to describe it and that’s disgusting’ said Vernon. ‘It’s a smell that I’ve never experienced and I don’t want to ever do that again. That was horrible.’

Heading into camp, the Family Fortunes presenter shouted: ‘Tonight we eat like Kings and Queens!’, before the group headed to the Castle Inn for dinner.
