I’m A Celebrity: Stars ‘have lost FOUR STONE after a week on basic rations’

This years stars on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here have reportedly already lost a staggering four stone after a week on basic rations.

According to The Sun some of the camp mates already seeing the results of the legendary ‘jungle diet,’ with Harry Redknapp and Nick Knowles among the biggest losers.

It comes after viewers saw Emily Atack eagerly celebrate her weight loss during Sunday’s show, as she gushed that she’ll ‘have a bit of room’ when she returns to the UK to indulge over the festive season.

The source said: ‘We believe between them the campmates have lost around four stone. What the celebs are eating is very healthy, from veg to meat protein and fish and that is absorbed quickly by the body.

‘The weight loss doesn’t do any permanent damage, and most pile it back on within three weeks, especially in the build-up to Christmas. 

‘The celebs see it as a detox, although at the time it’s very difficult as they have nothing to distract from the hunger.’

It is also reported that Medic Bob encourages to campmates to drink at least three litres of water of day, further limiting their food consumption.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for I’m A Celebrity for comment.

Of course for much of the camp the first few days saw them live on just the basic rations of rice and beans, a diet which then continued for some when Noel Edmonds chose which celebrities would eat as part of his ‘inner circle.’ 

Meanwhile Harry, 71, had previously said he was struggled to eat some of the meat and fish options given to the camp as a reward for winning stars in the bushtucker trial, including alpaca neck and emu.

She told the Bush Telegraph: ‘These were tight when I came in here. I just want to lose a bit of weight so that when I get home and it’s Christmas I have a bit of room and can put it back on again. 

‘I love food so much, I love cheese and champagne and salads, fries, yum.’
