A urologist has revealed the five things most people do that ruins their sex life – including not getting enough sleep.

Dr Anika Ackerman, who has 169,000 TikTok followers, shocked her fans with the list with many admitting they tick more than one of the sex-killing habit boxes.

The first being skimping on sleep – which most people know can impact your mood and energy levels but don’t realise it’s also linked to a limp libido.

The second is drinking too much booze – which can impact your sex life as a one off, as many know, but can also have long-term effects if you are a regular drinker.

Eating too much, or not enough, is also a sure-fire way to kill your sex life, Dr Ackerman explained in the video.

The next mood killer on the list is mismanaged stress.

And the final mood killer is being too boring in the bedroom.

‘Why is your sex life suffering or why do you have no drive? Here are some common reasons,’ she wrote on the video. 

The five reasons are just a handful of many tings which can impact your libido or sexual satisfaction.
