Iman married the English rocker in a romantic ceremony in Lausanne, Switzerland in April 1992 which was later formalized in a wedding hosted in Florence in June.
They raised their daughter Alexandria Zahra Jones, 18. Bowie had a son Duncan Jones from a previous marriage and Imran had Zulekha Haywood with a former love.
In April earlier this year, New York’s Broadway Lafayette subway station was transformed into a tribute to the Ziggy Stardust hitmaker until May.
The installation — which is a collaboration between Brooklyn Museum and Spotify — was built from printed quotes, fan-inspired art and maps of his NYC hangouts.

Two years later, Iman reflected on her husband’s passing when she shared a series of photographs on social media platforms earlier this year.
‘1947, forever,’ she wrote in the caption at the time. ‘My favourite love story is ours!’
