Incredible moment ‘hero’ teenager CATCHES toddler as she falls from second floor window in Turkey 

A hero teenager miraculously caught a falling toddler as she plummeted to the ground from a second floor window in Turkey. 

CCTV footage captured the moment the two-year-old girl was caught as she fell from her family’s home.

Feuzi Zabaat noticed little Doha Muhammed was about to drop from the ledge in the Fatih district of Istanbul last Thursday.

She had wandered to the edge of the flat’s window while her mother was in the kitchen, local media reports.

Algerian-born Zabaat then positioned himself under the window and plucked the youngster from the air as she went head-first towards the ground.

The clip shows that despite the girl falling at speed, Zabaat was able to hold on to her and stop her hitting the pavement. 

Zabaat can be seen reaching his arms out to catch Doha as passers-by then realise what happened.

The 17-year-old, who works in a frame shop, told Turkish media: ‘I did what was necessary for the love of Allah.’ 

Doha, who originates from Syria, survived the accident without any injuries and the pair later posed together.

The dramatic scene was captured by the security camera of a shop in a next door building. 

As a thank you, Doha’s family gave their daughter’s rescuer a gift of 200 Turkish Liras (£27.21).
