It’s not cheap as chips but it is very a-peeling. This 1.1-acre home on Potato Island – one of Connecticut’s Thimble Islands – has hit the market for $4.9million.

The 3,871-square foot, four-bedroom home atop the potato-shaped granite island was built in 1912 and ‘radiates New England charm,’ according to listing agent Christie’s.

The island is said to be a five-minute boat ride from the village of Stony Creek, Connecticut and a 90-minute commute to New York City.
