An 11-year-old girl is eight months pregnant after allegedly being raped by two elderly men in India, police said.
Nanji Javiya, 67, and his neighbour Arving Kubawat, 60, who live in Rajkot in the state of Gujarat, were arrested on Tuesday, NDTV reports.
The pair are accused of luring the girl – who comes from a poor family – with money before raping her last year.

But the alleged rape only came to light after she was found to be eight months pregnant and her mother filed a complaint.
Police said the girl’s father is unemployed due to ill health, while her mother works as a maid.
‘She was lured by them with the offer of money,’ a police spokesman said.
‘The matter came to light after she was found to be eight months pregnant.’
He added: ‘Initially, the girl concealed the incident from her family members, but eventually told her mother.’
Javiya and Kubawat have been booked on charges of rape and under provisions of the protection of children from Sexual Offences Act, the spokesman added.
