Inflatable chicken dressed as Trump dons a prison uniform as it sets sail in San Francisco

A 33-foot inflatable chicken with a striking resemblance to President Trump’s signature hairstyle set sail in the San Francisco Bay Sunday. 

The chicken, dressed in a black and white striped prison uniform, is called Prisoner 45, referring to Trump as the 45th President of the US. 

Backed by more than $1,500 of GoFundMe proceeds, ‘President Chicken’ was ‘sent off to jail’ with a banner on the rental boat that read: ‘Release Your Tax Returns. The Republic Demands It’.

From noon until 3pm, ‘President Chicken’ sailed from Crissy Field, along Embarcarcadero and McCovey Cove. 

Before the event, organizers encourage to come out to ‘send president chicken off to jail’

‘As he sails past, you can say anything you want to President Chicken. You can mock and squawk and swear like you’ve never sworn before in a proud expression of your First Amendment right,’ they wrote. 

‘Bring your friends. Make some signs and banners. Wear costumes. Dance. Everyone remember we’re still free.’

This isn’t the first time the Trump Chicken has created a spectacle. 

Last April, the giant bird made its first big appearance at the San Francisco Tax March.

Then in February, the chicken made its way tot he White House lawn, also known as the ‘Big Coop’.

Organizers were able to raise $10,000 to rent boats for its last appearance.

During President’s Day weekend it as sailed around Alcatraz dressed in its Prisoner 45 uniform while a banner hung from the boat that read: ‘Alcatraz Prison Transport’.
