Influencer ‘pretends to own a mansion’, actually lives in ‘a tiny house’

High-profile Aussie influencer is ‘pretending to own a ritzy mansion’ when she actually lives in ‘a tiny house in western Sydney’

A well-known influencer is allegedly pretending to live in a mansion when she in fact resides in a standard three-bedder in Sydney’s west.

The social media personality is apparently posting photos on Instagram that imply she lives in the palatial home but her actual living situation is far more humble.

According to a blind item published by Influencer Updates AU on Wednesday, the woman has previously shared images of a stunning mansion with a grand entrance, lift and swimming pool – even though she allegedly doesn’t live there.

She actually lives in a ‘tiny three-bedroom house’ down the road from one of Influencer Updates AU’s followers in western Sydney, where house prices are cheaper than the ritzy east.

The blind item, which was submitted by the follower but blanked out the name of the influencer in question, read: ‘[Redacted] influencer from Sydney who takes photos like she lives in a mansion with a lift and pool when really it’s a tiny three-bedroom house in the west up the road from me.’

The account admin posted two stock photos for illustrative purposes to show how different the real home and the mansion the woman claims to live in actually are.

It’s not uncommon for influencers to tell little white lies on social media, as being seen to lead a lavish lifestyle often brings more followers, sponsorships and money.

Daily Mail Australia has not named the influencer in question for legal reasons.

Influencer Updates AU encourages its followers to dob in influencers who misbehave, but the admin often posts the gossip without naming individuals.
