‘Nofoaluma you c**t. You’re a f**king piece of s**t,’ the player claims the fan said to him.

‘Hope you’re satisfied!’ Nofoaluma, 24, added.

The Tigers winger’s followers showed their support for the rugby league star.

‘Really sorry that happened to you David. The rest of the country is protected from harassment in the workplace, but people seem to think sports stars are exempt from this. Hugely disappointing,’ he said.

Australian Rugby League commission chairman Peter Beattie said the league would ‘not tolerate racism of any kind under any circumstances’.

‘End of story. Nor do we condone abuse of players. We are better than that.’

Earlier in the season, two Penrith Panthers fans were banned from attending games by the NRL after they racially abused South Sydney Rabbitohs star Greg Inglis.

‘Inglis! Do you want a dollar to buy some ethanol to sniff ya dog,’ the Penrith fans allegedly said.

Some have called for similar punishment for Nofoaluma’s abuser, including rugby league journalist Buzz Rothfield.

‘Disgusting, a great club like [the Sydney Roosters] would be embarrassed by that. Hopefully they’ll find the fan and throw him out for the year,’ he said.
