France and Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembele has been forced out of Euro 2020.
Dembele suffered by a knee injury soon after coming on as a second-half substitute during Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Hungary.
He tried to continue after taking a knock, according to boss Didier Deschamps, but felt a problem in the same knee when he crossed a ball, moments later.

Dembele underwent scans at a hospital in Budapest on Sunday and discussions followed between the France medical staff and those at Barcelona.
He was released from the squad on Monday.
‘He took a knock,’ said Deschamps in his post-match press briefing on Saturday.
‘We think it’s the knee tendon. He continued but then crossed the ball and felt it was not quite right. We hope it’s only a knock but won’t know more until the following days.’
Details of the injury have not been confirmed but a statement from the French FA said doctor Franck Le Gall, Deschamps and the medics agreed he would not recover in time to take any further part in the tournament.
France have four points from their two Group F games so far and face European champions Portugal in a re-run of the 2016 final in Budapest on Wednesday.
