Inside Hugh Jackman and Deborra’s luxury Park Hyatt digs

Just last year, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness closed the deal on a stunning $5.9 million ocean-front penthouse in North Bondi.

They’re back in the country this week for Hugh’s big Australian premiere of The Greatest Showman, but the pair have opted not to call the Eastern Suburbs home during their stay.

Instead, the couple are said to have checked into the Park Hyatt in The Rocks, home to ‘Sydney’s most expensive hotel room,’ which costs a reported ‘$16,000 a night.’

They’re back! Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness are back Down Under for his big Australian premiere of The Greatest Showman, but the pair have opted not to stay in the luxury $5.9 million North Bondi mansion they bought last year

Split across two-bedrooms and over 350 square metres, the Sydney Opera House overlooking digs features floor-to-ceiling glass and a ‘$9,000 toilet that plays music,’ according to The Daily Telegraph.

What’s more, the ceramic ‘throne’ looks out at the Harbour Bridge and Luna Park, providing warmth in the winter via an in-set warmer, as well as massage and deodorisation functionality.

After a hard day on the promotional trail, Hugh and Deborra-Lee – providing they opted for the ‘Sydney Suite’ – will be able to relax in the spa/sauna, and even call the butler provided specifically for their room.

Fair enough! Instead, the couple are said to have checked into the Park Hyatt in The Rocks, home to 'Sydney's most expensive hotel room,' which costs a reported '$16,000 a night'

Of course, the couple also have the option of renting out the whole floor, according to News Corp, providing them an extra two ‘entourage suites,’ coming to a grand total of ‘$50,000 per night.’

In comparison, their still-lavish North Bondi home comes off almost cheap-and-nasty, making the decision not to stay in Sydney’s beach capital an easy one.

The generous balcony space also offers seamless indoor and outdoor living, perfect for a hot and breezy Bondi afternoon.

Furthermore, the roomy penthouse is well-suited for overnight guests as it contains a pair of Queen bedrooms with custom built-in robes, and a Master with en-suite.

Perhaps explaining their decision to stay in a hotel is the fact Deborra-Lee and Hugh’s trip has been reported to be just a quick in-and-out while the Australian hunk attends The Greatest Showman’s premiere.
