6Sixteen is situated on five acres of farmland and feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, fire pit and loft bedroom retreat.

The 200-square-foot home has been dubbed ‘the perfect rural escape’ by visitors, who love the complete break from real life that it offers.

And despite seeming small, the property can house a family of four comfortably, with its queen-sized bedroom in the loft and sofa bed downstairs that can sleep two. 

Highlights of the home include the large stacking glass cedar doors that showcase views of the lagoon, farm and mountains, a fire pit to sit under the stars with a glass of wine and cheese board and a sun-drenched deck with a hammock and plush seating area.

The interiors have been tastefully done, with plenty of wooden, white and rattan finishes, while there is also a sleek bathroom and fully-equipped kitchen in the property. 

Outside, there are views for miles, alongside a menagerie of animals including horses, cows and kangaroos, as well as goannas and parrots.

‘6Sixteen was sublime! I had high expectations after viewing the beautiful photos and lovely reviews – but it was better than I anticipated,’ one woman posted.
