Inside Larry Emdur’s sad fridge while wife Sylvie is away

The Morning Show’s Larry Emdur has been married to Sylvie for over 20 years.

But the 53-year-old revealed on Thursday how easily he slips back into his bachelor habits when he wife is away.

He shared a photo of his poorly-stocked fridge to Instagram on Thursday, showing fans it contained just a jar of Vegemite, barbecue sauce and a single onion.

Larry gave fans a close-up look at the inside of the family’s fridge that was far from being adequately stocked.

The top shelf featured a jar of Vegemite with Larry’s name emblazoned on the label as well as a bottle of barbecue sauce.

An onion sat idly on the third shelf, while what looked to be a lemon was contained in the crisper.

This is not the first time the Channel Seven personality has poked fun of his diet while wife Sylvie is away.

On Wednesday, Larry took to Instagram, this time showing his reflection in a spoon that was placed in a bowl of Weetbix.

The journalist captioned the post: ‘When Sylvie’s away dinner be like….’   

Larry and Sylvie – who wed in 1995 – only renewed their wedding vows a few years ago, with the pair clearly sharing a mutual joy for life and each other.   

Simple: On Wednesday, the journalist poked fun of his dinner that consisted of just Weetbix 

‘Larry is my friend, my lover, my ATM,’ Sylvie said at the vowel renewal.

Larry and his wife have two children, Jye and Tia, and recently sold their lavish Dover Heights home in Sydney.

They traded in their record-setting $11.5 million property for a smaller $3 million cottage in Sydney’s The Rocks.
