And Petra Ecclestone, 31, was treated to quite the lavish baby shower on Sunday afternoon by her sister Tamara, as she prepared for the arrival of her bundle of joy.
The Formula 1 heiress looked radiant in a pink gown – complemented with Minnie Mouse ears – as she arrived at the celebratory event thrown by her sister Tamara, who arrived with her daughter Sophia, five.

As the proceedings wound to a close, Tamara took to Instagram to share a series of snapshots from the baby shower, which displayed the pink colour scheme.
In one shot, an elegant table setting showed that guests dined at a pink illuminated candlelit table, which included gold-tinged menus.
Included on the menu were a choice of whole Dover sole or chicken Milanese, while the sweets selection was billed as ‘sugar and spice and all things nice’.

Guests were also treated to a healthy supply of champagne as they toasted the baby’s imminent arrival.
As well as dining, guests were also given the opportunity to personalise their own pairs of Converse shoes at a painting station – an activity which adorable little Sophia appeared to lap up.
Meanwhile, the woman of the hour stepped out in style for the festivities, donning a floral pink dress with eye-catching silver boots, while a pair of Minnie Mouse ears rested atop her golden curly locks.
Her sister Tamara described the celebratory event as an ‘afternoon full of love’ as she shared the series of images on her Instagram account.

The recruitment consultant, 36, shared his excitement at the upcoming birth of his first child as he revealed the baby is ‘kicking hard’.
The picture in question saw Petra lying back on a bed with her feet propped up on pillows as she browsed on her laptop, which was balanced on top of her growing baby bump.
She looked decidedly comfy as she donned grey loungewear as she enjoyed some chill time amid her pregnancy.
Captioning the cute image, Sam wrote: ‘The baby is kicking hard tonight. It’s all getting very real. Cannot wait to meet you ❤️ ❤️.’
The child will be Petra’s first with Sam; she is already mother to three children, daughter Lavinia, six, and twins Andrew and James, four, from her marriage to ex-husband James Stunt, 37.

The couple announced their engagement on New Year’s Eve 2018 – just over a year after her break-up with businessman James.
Their divorce was finalised in October 2017, after six years of marriage. Recruitment consultant Sam is the best friend of Tamara’s husband Jay Rutland, 38.
Petra previously said of their meeting: ‘It was so unexpected. I randomly bumped into him when he came to LA to visit Jay.
‘I honestly thought I was going to turn celibate, or into a lesbian. You meet someone when you least expect it or when you don’t want it… that’s always when it happens.’
