Inside the $4.25 million Byron Bay home Liam Hemsworth has purchased

Just days after it was revealed the Hemsworths had bought a 35-hectare property in Broken Head, near Byron Bay, photos have emerged of their latest purchase.

On Saturday, The Daily Telegraph reported that Liam Hemsworth was planning to move to the area, which happens to be a short distance from where his older brother, Chris, lives with his family.

The property was purchased in late October for $4.25million by the Hemsworth family’s company, CHLH Management.

While Chris, 36, is listed as a director, the company name (CHLH) also bears the initials of Liam, 29.

Coincidentally, Liam was in Byron Bay visiting his brother when the sale was signed off in September, which suggests he could be the person living there.

The purchase comes after Liam, who is known for starring in films like The Last Song and The Hunger Games, split from his wife, Miley Cyrus, in August after less than a year of marriage.

The $4.25million property just a few kilometres away from the sprawling home Chris shares with his wife-of-nine years, Elsa Pataky, and their three children.

According to The Daily Telegraph, there are just two other homes and a forested area separating the estates.

The latest addition to the family’s property portfolio sits in a rugged area surrounded by lush trees and unpaved roads.

While it’s believed Liam will renovate the home, the current dwelling is situated in a valley at the base of a hill.

The scarcely populated area is surrounded by bushland and open plains, including what appears to be a large natural pond.

Several buildings are situated on the property, which also boasts a swimming pool.

It’s likely the remote home will provide Liam with some much-needed solace following his high-profile split marriage breakdown.

According Radar Online in August, Liam was keen to relocate to Australia after previously living in Malibu with Miley.

‘He’ll still come to LA to do business and shoot movies, but this whole experience has really reinforced to Liam that Hollywood’s not for him in the long term,’ a source told the website.

In an interview with Forbes in October last year, Liam spoke about his love of his native country.

‘In my opinion, everyone should visit Australia at least once. It really does have everything,’ he said.

‘[There are] Amazing beaches, cities, animals, [and] people, and a large selection of Aussie beer.’
