Inside the $800-a-night hotel in Savannah which JLo and Ben Affleck booked for A-list wedding guests

Guests at Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s fairytale wedding were put up at a $800-a-night boutique hotel in downtown Savannah, DailyMail.com can reveal.

A source told DailyMail.com the newlyweds block-booked 40 rooms at luxurious Perry Lane which was also used by singer J-Lo for top-secret wedding dress fittings.

Lopez, 52, stunned on her big day in a couture Ralph Lauren gown that came complete with a lengthy train and visited the hotel on Wednesday and Thursday for fittings.

Guests who stayed at the hotel included officiant Jay Shetty, 34, and his wife Radhi Devlukia Shetty – both of whom were seen leaving the property on Sunday morning ahead of a deluxe barbecue.

The hotel, built in 1906, is part of the storied Luxury Collection – a group of opulent lodgings for the world’s richest, with locations set all across Europe and the rest of the globe.

Standard rooms for weekends in August cost $756 a night while corner king rooms cost $981.

The most expensive rooms are the 740sqft king suites which start at $1,161 per night and include a separate sitting room decked out with some of the hotel’s collection of 1,200 artworks.

Perry Lane also boasts three restaurants, one of which is rooftop bar Peregrin that serves up Georgia-themed cocktails such as the tequila-spiked Georgia Goes Blue for $15.

A second bar, The Wayward, focuses on local beers while restaurant The Emporium serves up entrees that include a $47 fillet mignon and a $39 branzino dish that comes with turnips, sunchoke and gnocchi with celery root cream.

According to a source, most of Lopez and Affleck’s guests arrived Thursday with some set to continue enjoying the property until Monday.

The hotel was decorated by boutique interior decorator Andie Kully Interiors, and is one of several exclusive hotels belonging to the Luxury Collection

Spotted at the hotel was actor Kevin Smith, 52 – a close friend of Affleck’s who starred alongside him in 1997 movie Chasing Amy, religion-themed comedy Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

The actor also appeared in Jersey Girl – a critically panned comedy that starred Affleck and Lopez during their first romance, 18 years ago.

Smith’s Jay and Silent Bob co-star Jason Mewes, 48, who also attended the lavish wedding in Riceboro, Georgia, alongside other A-lists guest such as Matt Damon, 51, was also spotted leaving the hotel Sunday.

The three-day extravaganza began with a rehearsal dinner on Friday night, with the ceremony taking place at 7pm on Sunday night.

Glamorous bride J-Lo was photographed walking down the aisle arm-in-arm with Affleck, accompanied by their children, and posing for photos on the dock at the $8.9m estate.

Guests, who were all wearing white on the big day, were treated to a Southern-themed supper of lamb chops, oven-roasted chicken, and mac and cheese.

In the run-up to the ceremony, vans carrying pianos and musical equipment were seen being ferried into the venue, along with catering trucks – some containing barrels of Jack Daniels.

The all-white floral display included a grove of trees festooned with cream blossoms that were used to decorate the marquee where the couple repeated their vows.

Lopez wore a stunning white, Ralph Lauren couture gown during the wedding Saturday, while Affleck looked sharp in a matching black and white tuxedo

The couple continued to embrace each other following the ceremony, marking the biggest point in their relationship after they called off their original wedding 20 years ago

Security was stepped up on the day of the nuptials with police boats seen patrolling on the North Newport River that runs in front of the home and stopping any vessel getting close to the property.

New security gates were also erected in the long driveway leading up to the house with a guard station set up to check names and IDs.

Affleck has owned the property since 2003 and had intended to sell it but took the lavish home off the market earlier this year.

The couple have also been spotted in Savannah and were photographed close to Perry Lane on Wednesday.

Lopez also visited the hotel on Thursday and both Lopez and Affleck were photographed at a Savannah hospital on Friday after Affleck’s mother Chris Boldt slipped on the dock at his home and cut her leg.

Exclusive DailyMail.com photos showed the couple at the medical center hours before the rehearsal dinner, with Boldt seen leaving in a wheelchair.

Lopez’s mom Guadalupe Rodriguez was also present for the wedding but Affleck’s younger brother Casey, 48, was a surprise absentee – and was photographed on the day of the ceremony grabbing coffee in LA.

Damon, long associated with Affleck and a co-Oscar winner with his fellow Massachusetts native for Good Will Hunting, was spotted at the fairytale procession with his wife, Luciana Barroso.

The couple arrived at an airfield near the site of the celebration aboard a private jet.

Director Kevin Smith and acting partner Mewes – famous for their pairing as ‘Jay and Silent Bob’ – were also spotted in Georgia for the party. 

Smith was seen at a Hertz rental pickup with his wife, Jennifer Schwalbach Smith, as they headed for the festivities. 

Other stars expected at the party include George Clooney, Jane Fonda, Renee Zellweger, and Jimmy Kimmel.

Notably absent was Affleck’s younger brother, Casey, who said he had to miss out on the wedding due to ‘parental obligations at home.’

Also missing from the celebration was Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, who remains close friends with Affleck but could not attend due to scheduling conflicts as she is filming in Texas. 

Asked why he wasn’t at his brother’s wedding, Casey mumbled ‘I have other things to do,’ then would not clarify whether that was what he said.

It is unclear why Casey appeared in no rush to make it to the wedding — or to his mother after she was injured before the festivities, rushed out of Ben’s Georgia estate to a nearby hospital from Friday after she reportedly fell off a dock and cut her leg.

Casey’s absences is especially puzzling as the brothers are well known for being close and have worked together on a number of movies across both of their Hollywood careers.

Page Six previously reported Casey would in fact be attending the wedding. 

Following the wedding ceremony, Affleck and Lopez walked with their guest towards the estate’s Oyster House, which also hosted the wedding reception.

The pair’s happy reunion comes 20 years after they first dated and got engaged, only to call-off their wedding in fall 2003, blaming excessive media attention. 

Both went on to remarry, Lopez to singer Marc Antony and Affleck to ex-wife Jennifer Garner, but rekindled their old romance in 2021 – after a more than 17 year hiatus.
