Medical director of VivaMayr, Maximilian Schubert said: ‘Rebel has done amazingly well. Her willpower, discipline and focus on her health journey has been her success.’

Rebel made 2020 her ‘year of health’ and has worked hard to overhaul her diet and fitness habits, losing an impressive 30kg.

In November, the comedian proudly announced on Instagram that she’d reached her goal weight of 75kg (165lbs or 11.8 stone).

‘Hit my goal with one month to spare! Even though it’s not about a weight number, it’s about being healthy, I needed a tangible measurement to have as a goal and that was 75 kilograms,’ the Bridesmaids actress wrote.

According to People magazine, Rebel’s remarkable transformation is partially down to following the Mayr Method diet plan.

A source told the publication she got ‘amazing results’ by changing her eating habits while staying at the Austrian health and wellness retreat last year, and has continued to follow the plan.

‘It’s an approach that eliminates food intolerances, reduces sugar, encourages eating whole foods slowly, boosts the immune system and reduces inflammation,’ a source said.

‘She exercises with a personal trainer up to six times a week, goes on walks and is trying to up her protein intake nutritionally.’
