Inside The Block couple Tanya and Vito Guccione’s eclectic home in Melbourne

Inside The Block couple Tanya and Vito Guccione’s REAL home in Melbourne – including rainbow furniture, giant artworks and the same unique kitchen benchtop they used in their renovated house on the show

Their eclectic design style won them plenty of praise on The Block this year.

So it’s no wonder Tanya and Vito Guccione’s family home looks like it could have been plucked from the pages an interior design magazine.

Boasting a kaleidoscope of quirky details including rainbow-painted furniture and unusual light fixtures, the Melbourne property perfectly reflects the couple’s playful design aesthetic.

Rainbow furniture, giant artworks and a very unique kitchen benchtop: The Block couple Tanya and Vito Guccione’s have shared a glimpse inside their eclectic family home in Melbourne

‘In my own home I have pops of colour and pops personality and a bold mix of old and new,’ Tanya told Nine’s The Block Shop website.

‘It certainly has its own personality!’

Indeed, the home features a sumptuous colour palette of watermelon, yellow, teal and purple, while effortlessly blending an array of natural and man-made textures and materials.

A focal point is the kitchen’s island benchtop, which is crafted from light pink terrazzo, and is the same benchtop they used in the kitchen of their Block home.

‘Terrazzo isn’t for everybody but we love it because it gives us that mid-century feel but it’s also really great for homes because maintenance is really low and it’s also a great base to use for colour because it’s speckled so when you add a pop of colour it really lifts,’ Tanya said.

Wicker plant stands give the space an organic feel, while black-painted bar stools add a modern edge.

Tanya, who is a painter and makeup artist, has also decorated the walls with her own large artworks, bringing even more splashes of colour to the already flamboyant home.
