A stunning waterfront mansion has smashed property records on Sydney’s north shore.
The six bedroom Cremorne luxury home was listed for sale at $20 million and was sold on Monday night.
While the final price was not disclosed, it’s understood the mansion was sold for just under the listed price, representing a new record for Cremorne.
It was also the richest residential sale on Sydney’s north shore in 2019.
Owned by Meridian International Capital owner Carl Peterson for the last 21 years, the spectacular three-level open plan home had all the luxury features.

At least 50 potential buyers inspected the home in the past six months, according to LJ Hooker Avnu founding partner Michael Coombs.
‘We were very selective about who we showed through the property, and I noticed interest picked up on it in the last few weeks,’ Mr Coombs told the Mosman Daily.
‘It’s one of the best positions there – a directly north-facing waterfront with level lawn that goes right to the water’s edge.’
Mr Peterson bought the Shellbank Parade site in in 1998, and built the three-level home upon it two years later.
