Inside West Ham’s jubilant Europa Conference League celebrations

Declan Rice and David Moyes were pictured out at 4am as West Ham’s players and staff partied the night away in Prague, after ending their 43-year wait for a major trophy by winning the Europa Conference League.

Jarrod Bowen’s dramatic goal late on gave the Hammers a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in the final.

David Moyes’ side had taken the lead through a Said Benrahma penalty but were pegged back shortly after by Giacomo Bonaventura’s strike in the 67th minute.

But Bowen managed to seal the win for the Hammers in the dying stages and, in doing so, sparked wild celebrations among the squad’s players and staff on the pitch, while their fans partied in the stands and on the streets of the city.

Fans were not left disappointed by the hilarious antics that ensued, as images and videos of Hammers players and staff partying late into the night began circulating social media.

The celebrations clearly went on late into the night as club captain Declan Rice and manager David Moyes were pictured out at 4am as they celebrated the victory in Prague.

Along with defender Vladimir Coufal and a member of staff, the four West Ham members strolled along the streets of Prague in high spirits.

Earlier in the night, striker Michail Antonio shared a clip onto his Instagram page that showed the West Ham players partying away inside a private room in their hotel.

The song ‘Freed From Desire’ can be heard in the background. The players and staff sing along but with their altered version, which suggests that Bowen is ‘on fire’ and makes reference to his girlfriend, Dani Dyer, the daughter of famous West Ham fan and actor Danny Dyer.

Elsewhere, Lucas Paqueta’s wife Duda Fournier shared a clip on her social media of themselves dancing around with the Conference League medal around her neck.

Youngster Divin Mubamba, who made two appearances throughout the competition, showcased the dancing of defender Kurt Zouma with a video on his Instagram.

The French centre-back can be seen dancing around in his full-kit inside the dressing room.

Thilo Kehrer, who came on half-time to replace Zouma, shared similar scenes on his Instagram page as the players partied on the bus back to their hotel.

There were plenty of videos of the Hammers arriving back to their hotel that began appearing on social media, with Declan Rice and David Moyes leading the antics.

As the team got off the bus, goalkeeper Alphonse Areola produced a portable music player and even manager David Moyes joined in as they celebrated with two dozen happy fans after 2am early today.

And goalscorer Bowen was all smiles, laughing as his teammates danced to a song which affectionately celebrates his relationship with Dani Dyer, with whom he has recently had twins.

The chaotic scenes were sparked by Bowen’s winner in the dying moments of the match as he slotted the ball past the onrushing Pietro Terracciano.

Speaking to BT Sport after the game, Bowen said: ‘I obviously dreamed of scoring but to score the winner in the last minute – it’s what you always say. And to do it in front of these fans – I thought I was going to cry.

‘I’m just happy. I can’t put it into words. We’ve had a dream – we haven’t had the best season, myself included.

‘But to do what we’ve done tonight for these fans – to give them this moment, I’m over the moon.’

Combative midfielder Rice, who covered every blade of grass in the pulsating final, said: ‘Honestly it means absolutely everything. The lads have been so on it. We’ve had a real belief. I’m not just happy for us, for the manager, but for the fans.

‘I’m also happy for (the backroom staff).’

On Bowen’s goal, he added: ‘I said when he ran through on goal, “this is your time”. As soon as you see it hit the back of the net, you don’t know what to do – I’m still in shock!

‘I absolutely love this club. They’ve made me one of their own. I’m just so, so happy.’
