Popular Instagram fitness influencer Ca’Shawn ‘Cookie’ Sims, known as ‘The Booty Doctor,’ has not been seen or heard from in over a month, after claiming in a rambling YouTube video that she was pregnant and accusing her family members of domestic abuse.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office sent out a press release on Monday asking the public for help in locating Sims.
According to Missing Persons Unit investigators, the 30-year-old Sims was last seen on September 8 in the 2100 block of Broach Avenue in Duarte.

Officials said Sims’ family are concerned for her well-being.
Sims’ mother told KABC her daughter has been grappling with mental health issues during the Covid pandemic.
On September 11 – three days after Sims’ last known sighting – a video showed up on her YouTube channel, in which the fitness trainer revealed she was three months pregnant.
In the 20-minute recording, Sims, dressed in a pink fuzzy bathrobe, claimed that her father physically assaulted her while her mother looked on and did nothing to stop it. She also alleged that her family ‘purposefully put something in the living room and the AC vents’ to trigger an allergic reaction in her.
Toward the end of the video, Sims said she was a survivor of domestic violence and insisted that her life and the life of her unborn baby were at risk.
‘If something f***ing happens to me, you know why,’ she adds ominously before flashing a smile and the thumbs up sign.
The video had been viewed more than 25,000 times as of Thursday.

If has not been confirmed whether Sims is, in fact, expecting a child, and her allegations against her father have not been independently verified as of Thursday.
On Tuesday, one of her sisters, Ca’rynn Sims, asked her own Instagram followers to be on the lookout for Ca’Shawn.
‘She has abandoned her home, her dog and seemingly her phone which is unlike her,’ Ca’rynn wrote.
The sister added: ‘I never thought there’d come a day of me posting a missing flyer for my sister. We want her covered in prayers, God’s grace and to know that she is whole, well and alive.’
Ca’Shawn’s other sister, Christol Sims, vowed in a separate Instagram post to exhaust every option to find her and make sure she was safe.
Sims’ mother said her daughter has been grappling with mental health issues during the pandemic.
‘Although my sister is a very independent person and enjoys her solitude, family close and distant have not been able to get in touch with her for too long and it is concerning,’ she wrote.

Sims is 5-foot-1, weighing 120lbs, with black, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo of ‘It’s found in the soul’ on her left collarbone, ‘Earth’ on her left forearm, and a tattoo of Spanish writing on her back.
