Despite usually being found on the shelves of souvenir shops, it seems Australia’s hottest influencers are wearing luxury items emblazoned with the names of tourist destinations simply to make fashion statement.

Standing at the fore of this bizarre trend is Pip Edwards, 41, who debuted the ‘Bondi’ version of the Neverfull MM tote on Instagram earlier this month.

Retailing for a whopping $4,650, Pip’s ‘Bondi’ bag features a pink and yellow gradient design, and is adorned with a hibiscus-themed keychain.

Pip wasn’t shy to brag about her new purchase, posting multiple photos of the bag on social media.

The activewear guru also shared a photo of herself posing alongside the Louis Vuitton paper shopping bag she’d used to carry her new purchase, captioning the post ‘Easter bunny goodness’.

It’s unclear whether Louis Vuitton will extend its product offering to include the names of other Australian beaches, such as Cronulla or Surfers Paradise.
