Is Belle Gibson engaged? Cancer faker’s life after expose

Infamous cancer faker Belle Gibson appears to have something to celebrate almost three years after her sickening lies were exposed.

The fraudster, 26, was pictured with an apparent engagement ring on her finger – as well as two other bands – on Valentine’s Day.

Gibson fascinated and disgusted the public after her absurd claims she had cured her non-existent terminal brain cancer with healthy eating were exposed in 2015.

Her gross deception, the basis of her Whole Pantry business, ended with Gibson being slapped with a whopping $410,000 fine six months ago.

A source who spotted Gibson last Wednesday said she appeared devoted to taking care of her son.

She rocked up to a Melbourne park with friends while her little boy enjoyed an afternoon play date.

Gibson was far from delighted to spot a news photographer, who noted her ring was ‘not crazy small but not crazy big’.

The fraudster rode out her years-long scandal with mysterious South Australian-born partner Clive Rothwell, who has never spoken publicly about the scandal.

It’s unclear whether Gibson is working.

She has posted comments online expressing interest in launching a dating app, according to a new book about the scandal, The Woman Who Fooled the World

Authors Beau Donelly and Nick Toscano said former associates are often surprised to see her going about her daily life.

‘People are always surprised when they catch a glimpse of her eating dinner on Lygon Street,’ they wrote, ‘or having drinks at Cookie in the city, or skiing in the Victorian alps.’

Her grandmother told the authors that  Gibson should try to make things right.

‘Take your child to school, and do tuckshop duty and all the things we did, mind other people’s sick kids,’ she was quoted saying.

‘And keep a low profile.’

The latter, at least, was what she appeared to be doing this week.

Gibson did not respond to Daily Mail Australia’s questions about her private life or the status of her considerable fine.

A Consumer Affairs Victoria spokesman said the agency would not be able to comment on that matter.
