The Block fans are on the edge of their seats every week watching the contestants transform the Gatwick Hotel into luxury apartments.
And on Friday, breakfast radio host Ed Kavalee hinted there could be a secret project in the works after visiting the show’s set in St Kilda, Melbourne.
Speaking to Block presenter Shelley Craft on 2DayFM, the comedian revealed a publicist had stopped him from entering one particular room.

He suggested that the locked room was actually an unseen renovation project and asked Shelley, ‘Is there another secret apartment on The Block?’
‘That I cannot tell you!’ she replied, teasing a surprise reno later in the season.
‘There’s all sorts of secrets in The Gatwick that I don’t know about and that I can’t tell you. So you never know.’

Shortly after the radio interview, Channel Nine declined to comment on rumours of a ‘secret project’.

In previous seasons of The Block, contestants have teamed up for a group challenge to renovate a shared living area.
Past spaces have included a rooftop garden, foyer, building facade and swimming pool area.
