Last month, her rival Romy Poulier claimed that she was looking for more than just love on The Bachelor, wanting to pursue an acting career overseas. 

And now Woman’s Day claims that the show’s front-runner, Brittany Hockley, is ‘fame hungry.’

A source told the publication that while she has celebrity friends, she loves the limelight.

‘She’s never been one to turn down a red carpet opportunity or VIP party,’ an insider told the publication. 

The brunette told the publication that she has a lot of friends in the spotlight, including the likes of acclaimed chef Matt Moran and Dr Chris Brown. 

‘I have friends in the industry. Different models, hosts of reality show, Matt Moran.’

She also said she counts reporter Allison Langdon as a close friend and knows Ryan Clark from Bondi Rescue as she used to train him as a personal trainer.

However, Brittany made clear that she’s on the show looking for real love, after having no luck in the dating world. 

Meanwhile, Brittany has a number of pictures on her Instagram page of herself with celebrity pals including Matt Moran and model Renae Ayris.

Romy recently told OK! that Brittany – who says she’s a radiographer on the show – is an aspiring actress who wants to act in Canada.  

‘When the cameras weren’t rolling, Brittany talked about how she has plans to go to Canada to pursue her acting career,’ Romy alleged.

‘She studied acting in Scotland at the Acting Academy for years and now she does acting classes in Sydney.’

Meanwhile this week, Brittany told NW that she would happily become the next Bachelorette if things don’t work out with Bachelor Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins. 

‘If it doesn’t work out with Nick and I’m still single, I would definitely be the Bachelorette,’ Brittany said. 

She added: ‘I’m down-to-earth and funny, so if there’s any interest in me, then yes!’
