Is this THE dress of summer? £20 puff-sleeve frock sold by H&M

Is this THE dress of summer? Instagram style stars go wild over candy-coloured H&M frock that looks like THAT pink Killing Eve dress – and it costs just £20

  • High Street store H&M is selling a pink puff-sleeved cotton dress in UK stores
  • The £20 frock has proven popular with Instagram influencers since its release
  • Style of the dress gives a nod to outfit worn by Villanelle in hit drama Killing Eve

Fashion must-haves can often be expensive designer buys.

But the dress that’s already tipped to become the hit of the summer is a high street number that costs just £20.

H&M’s pink puff-sleeved cotton dress has been spotted on Instagram style mavens from around the world after being released this month.

H&M has released a £20 pink cotton dress with a striking resemblance to the style worn by Villanelle, as seen on British stylist Zeena Shah (pictured)

The frock, which boasts an on-trend square neckline and voluminous sleeves, is flattering on a range of body types and skin tones.

Best of all, it also echoes the frothy Molly Goddard creation that made headlines around the world when it was worn by Villanelle (Jodie Comer) on Killing Eve – giving fashion devotees the chance to emulate the look at a fraction of the cost.

The dress has proved so popular that it has already sold out in some sizes on the H&M website. It has also been chosen by the retailer to feature in the current window display across UK stores.

Showcasing the dress online, the H&M model is seen dressing down the frock with a pair of casual black flip flops and gold hoop earrings.

But it could just as easily be paired with wedges or nude summer sandals for an elevated evening look.

The dress has been spotted on influencers including Sarah and Philippa, who share fashion content with their 151,000 Instagram followers under the handle @wearetwinset.

The pair gave the frock a formal look by coordinating with woven bags, glitzy heels and sparkling earrings.

Elsewhere, British stylist Zeena Shah showed her 43,000 Instagram followers that the dress can be worn casually with a simple necklace.
