Forget grimy Tupperware, as a new lunchbox launch is taking packed lunches to the next level.

The INKA Lunch Kit costs a hefty $369, but it features all you could ever wish for in a packed lunchbox – including shatter and spill-proof containers, gold-finish stainless steel cutlery, silk and cotton blend napkins, detachable straps, a BPA-free sauce pot and a stylish bag to carry it around in.

Made from vegan silicone leather, the brand was dreamed up by founder Leah Naomi in New York – who was sick of carrying lunch to work.

‘After pulling my laptop out of my bag, drenched in sticky balsamic dressing for the tenth time, I refused to accept that bringing lunch from home had to be an awful experience and set out to build INKA,’ Leah wrote on the INKA website.

The talented entrepreneur spent the next two years asking 800 people about their lunch routines and how they transported their food into their offices.

The result of this is The Lunch Kit – which is billed as ‘everything you need to dine al desko’ – and ships around the world.

Best of all, the box cleans up easily with a waterproof interior that will handle all cleaning products.

‘Whether you’ve prepared the perfect salad or are just throwing in last night’s Pad Thai, we’re here to help you look good, feel good and reduce your environmental footprint while dining al desko,’ Leah said.
