She also used a $15 flower print from Yorkelee Prints, Freedom furniture and $19 chairs from Fantastic Furniture.

So how does she do it?

'Take your time buying things. I like to buy a couple of things at a time and slowly add new bits in as I slowly see them come together to achieve the look I want,' she said

‘Shop around! If I see something I want but is too much, I keep looking on Gumtree till what I’m after pops up, this way you save so much! And if it’s from Ikea it saves you the time having to put it together,’ she said.

Ms Delvin also buys all her main furniture in neutral colours so she can change up the look regularly with new throws and cushions and always sells her unwanted bits and pieces to buy new things.

‘If I see a look that I like, I try and replace the expensive items with something similar,’ she added.

‘For example I love the reindeer hide rugs. They are around $400 so I bought the $39 from Kmart to achieve the same luxury look.

'You can achieve a look without spending big money and it actually feels better spending less,' she said

‘A house tells a story and shows your personality, just have fun with it.’
