Isabella Manfredi talks about band poses for Stellar

The Preatures singer Isabella Manfredi reveals what she misses most about being a rock star after quitting her band to embrace motherhood

The Preatures singer Isabaella Manfredi has spoken about her split from the band and embracing motherhood. 

Appearing in Stellar magazine this week, the singer, 35, spoke about wanting to be at home with her daughter, Mina.  

‘I’ve got different priorities now. I can’t be away from [daughter] Mina, and I don’t want to be away from her,’ she told the publication.

However, Isabella did say she missed the ‘hit’ of touring with the band.  

‘I miss [touring], It’s been a big adjustment for me, not having that hit of playing shows night after night’, she admitted. 

Isabella posed in a number of high-fashion looks for the magazine, including a gothic style white dress which had glass ornaments on it.

In a second look for the magazine she wore she flashed the skin as she wore a floral, semi-transparent coat along with a black mini skirt. 

Elsewhere, she wore a dazzling, off-the-shoulder blue dress which she paired with thigh-high black boots. 

She also wore an edgy, oversized coat with a black-and-beige pleated skirt.

Isabella announced her pregnancy and engagement in January, 2021 to her musician partner, Rupert Parry.

‘This year I get to marry my person and give birth to our beautiful little girl. Can’t wait to do it all,’ Isabella captioned a sweet collection of photographs at the time. 

It’s been five years since the release of The Preatures’ last record, Girlhood, in August 2017.

The Sydney-based band [formerly The Preachers] were formed in 2010, but became more prominent in the music scene with their second EP ‘Is This How You Feel?’ in 2013.

The single ‘Is This How You Feel?’ was nominated for an ARIA Award for Best Pop Release, and was voted ninth in the prestigious Triple J Hottest 100 that year.
