A porn film was accidentally shown to confused primary school pupils during a history lesson about the tragic cruise ship Titanic.

The seven-year-olds had been watching an educational online video about the ship on a big screen in their classroom in Cowes, Isle of Wight, but when it finished a pornographic film began playing on the website.

The children were stunned to see a naked woman lying down and a man putting his finger into her mouth.

The female teacher, who had her back to the screen, did not realise the video was playing until pupils started laughing.

Lanesend Primary School confirmed the incident and said it was being thoroughly investigated.

A parent, who did not wish to be named, said: ‘A little girl went home to her mum and said “we saw people humping at school today, it was really funny”.

‘She told her mum, “there was a naked lady lying on the floor and a man went over to her and put his finger in her mouth. Then he lay on the floor”.

‘Apparently the teacher had her back to the screen at the time, so she didn’t realise it was playing until the children started laughing and she turned it off straight away.

‘The children found it funny and weren’t too distressed, but parents are very angry about it.’

The school, which is carrying out a two-week investigation into the incident, said it was unable to comment further on the matter at this time.

Lanesend Primary School was in the news last year after turning their Year 3 class gender neutral in an experiment for the BBC.

Teachers removed all differences between boys and girls during a six-week documentary called No More Boys And Girls: Can Our Kids Go Gender Free?

The kids had gender-neutral sports teams, were told that ‘boys are sensitive’ and ‘girls are strong’ and even had to use the same toilets.

To challenge the pupils’ preconceptions about the jobs on offer to them, the TV crew brings in a male ballet dancer, a female mechanic, a male make-up artist and a female magician.
