She cheated on Bronson Norrish with Sam Ball on Married At First Sight, but Ines Basic had a very different view on infidelity before she appeared on the program.

On Nine’s Talking Married on Wednesday night, Ines was shown condemning cheaters on her MAFS audition tape.

When asked by a producer what her views on infidelity were, Ines said: ‘I just don’t understand why you’d do it. Like, why be in a relationship? Go be single.’

Ines’ attitude towards infidelity before she went on MAFS is in stark contrast to her behaviour on the program, however.

The brunette beauty famously had an ‘affair’ with Sam Ball on MAFS, despite Sam being partnered up with Elizabeth Sobinoff, and Ines with Bronson.

On Tuesday night’s episode of the Channel Nine hit series, Ines and Sam enjoyed a drink at the bar before returning to his room to continue their rendezvous.

‘Falling for Sam just feels natural. It feels right. Like I can see myself with him outside of the experiment. Yeah, it was like my favourite date of all time,’ Ines told producers.

After spending the evening with Sam, Ines returned to her room to get ready to spend the day with Bronson.

Interestingly, Sam will place the blame on Ines for their ‘affair’ in Sunday night’s episode.

The tradie, 26, gets confronted by expert John Aiken, who demands: ‘Just answer the question. So who made the first contact – you or Ines?’

In a promo trailer, Sam holds his head in his hands before eventually replying ‘Ines did’ as his co-stars look around in shock during the tense commitment ceremony.

His ‘wife’ Elizabeth is then seen looking distraught, before admitting: ‘I am definitely feeling hurt.’

And things take a turn as Cyrelle Jimenez Paule wades in, yelling: ‘Ines why are you laughing.’
