Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner will be celebrating a decade of marriage this weekend at Camp David.

A source familiar with the party told DailyMail.com there would be a ‘small family event at camp,’ which will be far from the flashbulbs of paparazzi that capture the couple daily in front of their Washington, D.C. abode.

Vanity Fair, which first reported on the fete, said the couple’s family would attend – including all the siblings – as well as a ‘number of close friends’ and President Trump.

The president arrived at the Maryland presidential retreat, located in the Catoctin Mountains, after his appearance Friday afternoon in South Carolina.

When Trump first came into office he waited a full five months before heading to Camp David, a property owned by the American government, noting that it was ‘very rustic’ in comparison to his glitzy resorts.

He’s generally spent weekends at his Trump-branded properties instead – summering in Bedminster, New Jersey, voyaging to Mar-a-Lago in Florida when the weather turns cool and motorcading to the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia when he’s stuck in Washington.

Bedminster is also where ‘Javanka’ wed, in front of a crowd of 500 on October 25, 2009.

But presidents have long used Camp David for personal entertaining.

During the last administration, both of President Obama’s daughters celebrated birthdays on the property.

In July 2009 – Obama’s first year in office – Malia Obama invited 20 friends to a party at Camp David to celebrate the dual occasion of her 11th birthday and the Fourth of July. Both Malia and Sasha marked other birthdays at Camp David as well.

Chelsea Clinton turned a sweet 16 at Camp David in 1996, inviting 30 friends to play paintball, watch movies and bowl.

Presidents have also used the retreat to fete friends.

Notably, President George H.W. Bush threw a celebration at Camp David for Russian President Boris Yeltsin’s 61st birthday. As gifts, Yeltsin received cowboy boots, complete with a map of Russia on them, and a White House parka.

Bush also surprised the Russian leader with a birthday cake.
