Ivanka Trump bundles up as she leaves her D.C. home

Ivanka Trump braved the chilly Washington, D.C. weather this morning in a long coat, which matched the rest of her all-black outfit.

The first daughter, 36, was spotted leaving her house in the upscale neighborhood of Kalorama around 8 am, on her way to work.

She kept warm in her below-the-knee coat, tied around her waist with a belt and opening into a large collar.

The first daughter was clearly keen to showcase her chic look, later sharing an image of herself posing in front of the East Wing before heading into a meeting at the treasury.

‘Walking into a meeting at [the] Treasury… Beautiful view of the East Wing!’ she captioned the snap, which she posted to her Instagram Story and Snapchat.

Her husband and fellow White House adviser, 36-year-old Jared Kushner, left the house separately this morning, a little earlier than his wife.

He was seen heading out around 7:30 am, and unlike Ivanka, opted to go coat-free.

Jared stuck to his classics by wearing a dark suit, paired with a white shirt and a grey tie, and he smiled widely at the camera while he made his way to his parked Secret Service vehicle.

On Tuesday evening, Ivanka and Jared stepped out together, both facing the nearly freezing temperatures sans coat.

The pair headed out on the first night of Hanukkah shortly after Jared came back from work.

Ivanka was sporting a navy cold-shoulder dress featuring a flirty ruffled hem, paired with a pair of black, over-the-knee boots and the same black handbag she wore today.

Ivanka wore her long blonde hair loose around her shoulders, and it blew in the wind as she and Jared walked down the stairs of their home.

The White House senior adviser topped off her edgy look with a pair of dangling earrings featuring black, white, and navy beads.

Meanwhile, Jared went with his go-to slate gray suit, which he paired with a navy tie that matched his wife’s dress.

Although he is a person of interest in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe, Jared didn’t seem to have a care in the world as he flashed a bright smile at the cameras waiting outside his door when he arrived home after work on Tuesday evening.

Shortly after he returned home, he stepped out again with Ivanka while their children were presumably tucked in bed. However, it’s unclear where the couple was heading off to.

The family’s menorah could be seen from outside their home, and they also hung a Star of David ornament on their window.

Earlier in the day, various packages were delivered to their home, and some of them were presumably holiday presents.

Before she left the house, Ivanka took to Instagram to share photos of her family the the Hanukkah reception that was held at the White House last week.

The Thursday event occurred one day after President Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, sparking protests and chaos in the Middle East.

‘Tonight, as we light the menorah, Jared, Arabella, Joseph, Theodore and I wish everyone celebrating a Happy Hanukkah!’ she captioned the series of images.

She then posted a sweet family portrait, showing herself and Jared posing proudly with their three children in front of the menorah at home, with Ivanka cradling her youngest son Theo while Jared has his arms around Joseph and Arabella.

Ivanka converted to Judaism when she married Jared, and they are raising their children as Orthodox Jews.

The pictures see Ivanka, Jared, and their three children on stage with her father and stepmother during the ceremony, and Arabella and Joseph lit the first candle on the menorah while the crowd sang Ma’oz Tzur.

On Monday, Ivanka beamed with delight as she met pioneering astronaut Peggy Whitson, 57, at the White House after President Donald Trump signed a policy directive to send American astronauts back to the moon.

She flashed a bright smile during the meeting, for which she donned a black dress with shoulder cutouts and matching earrings.

Whitson was the only female astronaut to have commanded the International Space Station twice.

She is also the single U.S. astronaut who has spent the most cumulative time in space, reaching a total of 665 days over the course of three long-duration missions.

Monday’s meeting came after Ivanka spent a festive weekend with her family.

She and Jared were all smiles Sunday as they posed alongside their children for several social media snaps during a festive family day.

The high-profile family bundled up for an ice skating outing in the morning, after Washington, D.C. saw its first snowfall of the season.

Ivanka shared the sweet moments to her Instagram and Twitter page, writing in one, ‘Sunday morning with this crew!’ The image captured her husband on ice with his arms around daughter Arabella, six, and son Joseph, four.

She posted another picture of herself striking a pose in the skates as she embraced her eldest daughter.

Later in the afternoon, the group made their way back home, where they made themselves a little cozier indoors to bake some goodies.

‘Holiday Baking!,’ Ivanka wrote in a post, which showed her two kids beaming as they assisted each other in making the sweet treats.
