After spending thousands of dollars on a designer ensemble, Ivanka Trump is making sure she gets plenty of wear out of it.
Ivanka, 38, stepped out at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday alongside her father, President Donald Trump, and husband Jared Kushner, wearing a chic Oscar de la Renta coat dress that she first modeled in April 2018.
The first daughter’s ankle-length coat was paired with a funky $1,490 belt that has a large gold flower buckle, and Ivanka added a pair of gold hoop earrings for an extra dose of bling.

On the job: Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, who are both senior advisors to the president, are expected to remain in the country for two days
And just as she did in 2018, Ivanka paired the long coat dress with some black boots.
In fact, the only main difference between the mother-of-three’s look on Tuesday compared to her first appearance in the outfit was her choice of ‘do; two years ago, Ivanka had long blonde locks that were styled in loose waves when she stepped out in her Oscar de la Renta ensemble.
However, in September 2019, she made the decision to change up her look, cutting off her lengthy tresses in favor of a sleek, chic bob. Although her hair has since grown back down to her shoulders, it remains significantly shorter than it was in April 2018.
Ivanka also appeared to be wearing a slightly more daring makeup look while making her debut at this year’s World Economic Forum – where she and Jared attended a speech given by President Trump.
The married couple watched on as the President branded climate activists were out-of-touch ‘alarmists’ and the ‘heirs of yesterday’s fortune tellers’ – while prominent climate activist Greta Thunberg sat in the audience.
‘This is not a time for pessimism. This is a time for optimism,’ he said in stark contrast to Thunberg and others, who used the conference to warn that the Australian wildfires and other disasters were only the beginning of the climate chaos that lie ahead.
To ’embrace the possibilities of tomorrow,’ Trump said, ‘we must reject the perennial prophets of doom and their predictions of the apocalypse.’
‘They are the heirs of yesterday’s fortune tellers,’ the President added. ‘They predicted an over-population crisis in the 1960s, mass starvation in the 70s, and an end of oil in the 1990s.
If it ain’t broke… The first daughter first wore the ensemble back in April 2018 when she was seen leaving her D.C. home in the all-black look
Right hand woman: Ivanka wrote on Instagram that her father planned to ‘champion American industry and workers’ while in Davos
Woman on a mission: She added that she hopes to ‘call on the world’s largest employers to sign our #PledgetoAmericasWorkers’
‘These alarmists always demand the same thing – absolute power to dominate, transform and control every aspect of our lives. We will never let radical socialists destroy our economy, wreck our country or eradicate our liberty.’
Although he touched on climate change however, the bulk of Trump’s speech was touting the American economy under his leadership, a curtain-raiser as he works more seriously toward his re-election bid.
Tuesday’s speech was also counter-programming with the Senate beginning its impeachment trial of Trump; House Democrats will start making their case as Trump meets with world leaders.
Ivanka and Jared are expected to remain in Switzerland with the President for two days – however the first daughter will not just be spending her time shadowing her father, and revealed on Instagram that she is working on a cause of her own while at the forum.
‘Headed to Davos to call on the world’s largest employers to sign our #PledgetoAmericasWorkers,’ she wrote on her Instagram Stories ahead of her arrival in Europe.
She added that she wants employers to ‘join us in unleashing the potential of our people and accelerating the historic wave of opportunity, wage growth, and job creation in the United States’.
Ivanka then posted a picture of her father’s helicopter flying coming in to land in Davos, while writing: ‘POTUS arriving in Davos where he will champion American industry and workers!’
The first daughter’s arrival in Switzerland comes just days after her brother-in-law Joshua Kushner and sister-in-law Karlie Kloss left the country, having spent several days celebrating the wedding of Dasha Zhukova and billionaire shipping heir Stavros Niarchos.

Awkward? 27-year-old model Karlie revealed last week that she is a Democrat and that she plans to vote against Trump in the 2020 election
Style: Ivanka was seen leaving her Washington, D.C. home in another recycled Oscar de la Renta outfit on Wednesday
Throwback: The look appears to be a favorite of hers, as she wore the outfit to the G20 summit in Buenos Aires in November 2018 (left) and this past October (right)
It does not appear as though the two couples crossed paths during their time in the country – which may well have come as a relief to Karlie, who revealed for the first time that she is a Democrat, and that she plans to vote against Trump in the 2020 election.
The 27-year-old opened up about her allegiances during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, when host Andy Cohen pushed her on whether or not she agrees with her in-laws on politics.
‘Andy, I’m sure I’m not the only person in this country who does not necessarily agree with their family on politics,’ Karlie calmly stated. ‘I voted as a Democrat in 2016, and I plan to do the same in 2020.’
The news certainly didn’t seem to be weighing on Ivanka’s mind though; the first daughter looked happy and calm as she joined her father in Davos – having remained under the radar for much of the last week since watching her father sign a trade deal with China at the White House on January 15.
Interestingly, Ivanka chose a recycled Oscar de la Renta ensemble for that public event as well, this time re-wearing a $2,490 peplum top and matching $1,190 skirt, both of which featured an interesting white grid pattern.
The highly-publicized signing marked the third time she has seen modeling the ladylike ensemble, which she first wore to the G20 summit in Buenos Aires in November 2018.
The White House senior adviser also donned the short-sleeve top and pencil skirt three months ago, when she was seen heading to work in October.
