Ivanka Trump reveals she and Jared are secret matchmakers

Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner are secretly talented at playing matchmakers.

During an interview with Sean Hannity on Monday night, the First Daughter opened up about their hidden skill, saying the couple had successfully set up seven marriages.

‘This is Jared and my secret talent – people don’t realize it’s our hidden skill, we’re matchmakers,’ Ivanka said.

‘Seven marriages, zero divorces. Hopefully, God-willing that continues.’

During an interview with Sean Hannity on Monday night, Ivanka Trump revealed that her and Jared Kushner are secretly talented at being matchmakers

The revelation came after Hannity started his one-on-one interview by revealing he had tried to set up one of Ivanka’s assistants.

‘You have an assistant, or somebody who works for you in PR. Go ahead you can tell everyone,’ he told Ivanka.

She added: ‘You tried to set her up and were almost successful, but what really excited me about this story is when I found out that you actually had a website where you were making matches.’

Hannity had started an online dating website called Hannidate about nine years ago.

While it didn’t last long, Hannity boasted during his interview with Ivanka that he used to encourage couples to get engaged when they would turn up to his book signings.

‘I used to do these long book signings that would go on for hours and a cute couple would come up and I’d say how long have you been dating, they’d say three years and I’d say what are you waiting for,’ he said.

‘A lot of people appreciated it and they did get married.

‘I even have a child named after me and dogs.’

Hannity then quickly changed the subject to that of tax reform after Ivanka hosted a town hall event near Warminster, Pennsylvania earlier in the day.

Ivanka, who had been laughing and joking just moments earlier, changed her tone drastically as she spoke of feeling ‘blessed’ and ‘privileged’ to serve the country.

She said the plan would focus on tax reform, deregulation and fueling entrepreneurship.

Ivanka told Hannity that her mission through job creation and economic growth is to give taxpayers ‘the opportunity to remove barriers so more people can experience some of the privileges that my family were lucky to have.’

The president’s daughter told attendees of the Monday event that tax reform is both ‘critical’ and ‘long overdue’ as she spoke on a panel with U.S. Treasurer Jovita Carranza.

She said the administration also believes the child tax credit expansion that she’s helping to champion is also ‘critically important’ and will ‘help offer American families much needed relief.’

‘It’s been many decades since the last time the code was looked at and the realities of the modern working, and modern working family have changed dramatically since then,’ she said. ‘So on a basic level, this is a bipartisan discussion. People, Americans, want tax reform. They want simplicity, it’s too complicated.’

Ivanka also pushed her father’s proposal to slash the corporate tax rate, reducing it to 20 percent from 35 percent, saying it will ‘ensure that this country is competitive.’
