Ivanka Trump made a bold fashion statement on Thursday afternoon when she attended a press conference at the White House wearing a blue bubble-sleeved dress.
The first daughter, 36, showed support for her father, President Donald Trump, as he addressed the press in the Rose Garden with Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
Due to the warmer summer weather, Ivanka opted to wear her blonde locks up in a stylish bun, and paired the look with Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses and diamond earrings.

The mother-of-three was seen speaking with Vice President Mike Pence and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo before the outdoor press conference officially started.
But she stood out among the greenery in the garden with her dark blue frock, which cinched at the waist and featuring large three-quarter sleeves.
While the first daughter typically opts for more subdued, ladylike looks, she chose to make a head-turning statement with her extra-large and shapely sleeves on Thursday.
Besides the addition of the sunglasses and earrings, Ivanka kept her look relatively simple for the afternoon event, letting the unique silhouette steal the show.
As for make-up, she appeared fresh-faced with her flawless complexion and dark pink lipstick shade.

Ivanka was caught by photographers earlier this week while catching up with friends Hugh Jackman and Wendi Deng Murdoch while in New York City on Monday evening.
That night, she donned a $1,850 sleeveless cream dress from Proenza Schouler and a pair of black slingback heels for her night out in the Big Apple.
Ivanka gave Hugh, 49, and his wife, Deborra-lee Furness, 62, a hug and a kiss as she walked out of their Greenwich Village apartment building with a friend.
Hugh and Deborra-lee had their dogs with them, and Ivanka bent down to pat one of the pooches on the head a she made her way out of the building.

Warm embrace: Ivanka reached to give Deborra-lee a hug while on her way out
The actor and first daughter have been pals for years; in 2015, Hugh posted an image of Ivanka on his Twitter account, referring to her as his ‘lovely friend’.
Ivanka wore minimal make-up for the outing, and her long blonde hair was parted in the middle and loose around her shoulders.
The mother-of-three topped off her look with a pin on the bodice of her dress, a gold bracelet, and a red string tied around her left wrist.
Though she hasn’t spoken about the purpose of the string, which she has been wearing off and on for about a year, it does bear a resemblance to the type of red string that Kabbalah practitioners wear to ward off the ‘evil eye.’
Ivanka carried a black handbag as she and her friend made their way to the SUV waiting outside the apartment building.

Au naturel: Ivanka was fresh-faced for her night out in New York City
After the first daughter got into her vehicle, Hugh and Deborra-lee took their dogs outside while chatting with friends who were also leaving the building.
Wendi, 49, trailed out behind them, and Deborra-lee waved at her to say hello; after Wendi had caught up with them, Deborra-lee threw her arm around her before she got into her own car.
The businesswoman donned a ruffled blazer, skinny pants, and black wedge mules for the evening out.
Hugh and Deborra-lee were dressed more casually to walk their pets. Hugh had on a dark button-down top and dark pants, while his wife opted for a black tunic and loose-fitting black pants.
The next day, Ivanka was seen leaving the side entrance of her New York City apartment to evade the photographers waiting outside her door.

New York chic: The first daughter donned a black hooded jacket, black skinny pants, and a pair of knee-length boots
Touch up? After she left her apartment, she visited Oon Arvelo Salon and Oscar Blandi Salon
The White House senior adviser, who was born and raised in Manhattan, looked chic in a black hooded jacket, black skinny pants, and knee-high black boots.
She wore aviator sunglasses and added a pop of color to her look by sporting a red lip.
Ivanka was seen getting inside an SUV parked in front of her apartment as she made her way to Oon Arvelo Salon and then Oscar Blandi Salon.
The first daughter has been a longtime client of stylist Peter Oon, and she has been getting her hair dyed by Kyle White, lead colorist at Oscar Blandi, for the past couple of years.
Although it is unclear who did what, Ivanka likely spent a good portion of the day getting her hair done; she did, however, find time to pay tribute to designer Kate Spade, who committed suicide, and was found on Tuesday morning.
Ivanka took to Twitter shortly after the news of Kate’s death broke, writing: ‘Kate Spade’s tragic passing is a painful reminder that we never truly know another’s pain or the burden they carry. If you are struggling with depression and contemplating suicide, please, please seek help.’
