Ivanka Trump wishes happy birthday to brother Donald Jr

Ivanka Trump kicked off New Year’s Eve by marking another milestone celebrated on December 31: her big brother’s birthday.

The 39-year-old was the first of her family to take to social media this morning to wish her brother Donald Trump, Jr. a happy 43rd birthday.

‘Happy birthday to the best brother (and uncle!) in the world!’ she wrote on Instagram. ‘Looking forward to many laughs and adventures in the years ahead.’

Ivanka shared eight photos to celebrate the occasion, including two shots from a boys’ fishing trip in Palm Beach, Florida on December 29 with Don, Jared Kushner, and their sons.

There were also photos taken under a presidential seal at the White House, at a MAGA rally, and at an event on Trump’s UK trip last year.

In one large group photo, Ivanka, Jared, Don Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, Eric, Lara, Tiffany, and some of the kids pose outside in matching protective gear at a shooting range.

Ivanka had shared other photos from the outing earlier this month, showing her sons Joseph, 7, and Theodore, 4, learning how to shoot rifles and bows and arrows.

In the birthday post this morning, Ivanka tagged her dad, her brothers, and their significant others in the post, as well as Tiffany’s boyfriend Michael Boulous — though, oddly, not Tiffany herself.

By 5 p.m. Washington, DC time, Ivanka was the only one of Don Jr.’s siblings to acknowledge his birthday on social media, with even his girlfriend Kimberly quiet on Instagram.

He did get a post from his dad, however, with President Trump sharing a photo of them on Air Force One with the caption: ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY @DonaldJTrumpJr!’

Meanwhile, Don Jr. appears to be celebrating his birthday in Florida with his family and enjoying some fun time with his children.

This morning, he shared three photos of his children decorating gingerbread houses — and eating lots of the decorations.

‘Don’t get high on your own supply – Scarface,’ he captioned the post. ‘Also applies to the icing on let’s make a gingerbread house with dad day.’

The images show two of his children eating icing right out of the bag with huge smiles on their faces, with bowls of candy and quite a bit of mess on the table in front of them.

But while his daytime plans are mellow ones, Don may have some wilder plans tonight as Mar-a-Lago hosts a New Year’s Eve gala.

As DailyMail.com reported yesterday, Mar-a-Lago will host its black-tie New Year’s Eve gala this year despite the pandemic, welcoming hundreds of guests to its ballroom as coronavirus cases are on the rise in Florida.

At least 500 people have reserved tickets so far, CNN reported. Hundreds of people typically attend. The main ballroom can hold 700 people and there are smaller ballrooms available to add to the crowd size.

Tickets for the event are going for $1,000 each, one person attending the gala told DailyMail.com. A person has to be a member of Mar-a-Lago or a guest of a member in order to attend.

The president and First Lady Melania Trump will not be at the gala, having returned to Washington, D.C. today.

It’s unclear how ringing in the year 2021 will play out for those who are at Mar-a-Lago tonight, given Palm Beach County’s mask mandate.

December has been the deadliest month of the COVID pandemic and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is advising people to celebrate within their households.
